BASIC TRAINING - NAIL THERAPIST
You’ll study through our digital learning platform, where you’ll have access to step-by-step video lessons, theory, and hands-on exercises. Throughout the program, you’ll have direct contact with your instructor and receive support, guidance, and feedback along the way.
You have 6 months to complete the course, with the option to extend the timeframe if needed. The time it takes varies depending on your pace of study, prior experience, how much you practice, and access to models—you complete the course entirely at your own pace, without stress.
After you’ve gone through the lessons and practiced the various components, the course concludes with a final exam consisting of both a theoretical section and practical components (assignments). You’ll upload photos of your work and receive personalized feedback until all components are approved. You’ll then receive your certificate.
Once you’ve completed the course, you’ll retain access to all course materials for life, so you can always go back and review whenever you want.
Important to Note
• During the course, you’ll need access to models, as the practical exercises cannot be performed on yourself.
• The products used during the course must be supplied by us.
• If you already have lamps, dust extractors, or tools, you’re welcome to use them, but all materials applied to the nails must be supplied by us
• This is so we can ensure the best possible results and support.
The Undergraduate Program Includes
- During the course, we cover everything from the basics to advanced techniques, including nail anatomy, nail conditions, and hygiene; manicures and Russian manicures; gel polish; nail strengthening; gel techniques; French manicures; shaping; and extensions using both tips and forms. You’ll also learn electric file techniques, product knowledge, customer service, photography, and how to build and grow your own business through social media and marketing.

My name is Linda, and I’m the founder and owner of Miss Fancy AB.
Just like you, I started out with an interest in nails! I decided to take a nail technician course, which gave me enough solid foundation to launch my career in the nail industry.
Since then, not a single workday has been boring. It’s been challenging and incredibly rewarding—and it’s definitely the best thing I’ve ever done!
With over 10 years of experience—gaining a wealth of knowledge from working as a contract technician at a salon to opening my own salon with my own staff—
And then, on to developing my own nail brand—I have a wealth of knowledge to share with you, who, just like me, started with an interest in nails and a dream of working with the most fun thing there is!

Do you have an age limit?
Answer: We have a minimum age requirement of 16 with parental consent.
Can I pay in installments?
Answer: Absolutely! We use Klarna, so you can choose to pay for the course in installments if you’d like.
Will I be able to buy products from other brands after completing a nail course through Miss Fancy?
Answer: Unfortunately, we can’t answer that. Please check with the respective companies.
Your course is very affordable—does that mean you’ll learn less?
Answer: Absolutely not. Our course covers everything—and then some, I’d say. However, we’ve set a low price because we believe that if you’re considering training to become a nail technician, it should be an obvious choice—and it shouldn’t cost too much.
We want all our customers to have the opportunity to take our course! Keep in mind that there is no professional association for the nail industry, and all training programs are offered by private providers. We teach you our specific method of working with our products.
How does the final exam work?
Answer: After you’ve completed all the lessons and practiced the various components, the course concludes with a final exam that includes a theoretical section and a practical section with assignments on the different components we’ve covered during the course. You’ll then upload photos of your completed work. Upon passing, you’ll receive your certificate.
Does this course include thermoset plastic training?
No, it is not included, nor is it a requirement to complete thermoset plastic training unless you plan to work as an employee—which is quite rare in this industry. Of course, we’ll cover the essentials so you’ll be able to handle the products safely.
You can take a thermoset plastics course alongside our training, which we also encourage you to do. There are several available online.

Learn how to create the perfect French fade
The French fade is probably the most popular design, and I can see why. It looks incredibly fresh! Unfortunately, it’s not always the easiest to create. It requires a certain technique as well as product knowledge. Learn how I easily create a perfect French fade using gel.
