1 filter is included with the purchase. The filter should be exchanged regularly, about every 6th-10th week depending on how much it is used. 

Clean the filter between every use. Just easily remove the filter and tap out the dust over a trashcan.

The filter used in this one is the same as our regular filter (not 2.0)
